Emblazoned on the front is 'Absinthe, la fée verte' when translated states 'Absinthe, the green Fairy' synonymous with Parisian and Bohemian culture. Beneath the Sigil is the skull of the emerald coloured Fairy spirit which forms the purses securing flap.
